Thankful Commuter – Delaware Commute Solutions

In the spirit of the holiday season, we at Delaware Commute Solutions want to know what makes you thankful for your clean commute. Is it saving gas in your carpool, a cheerful bus driver, or the peaceful bike ride to work each day? For your participation, one lucky entrant will receive a Gift Basket as a token of our thanks!

I’m thankful to be able to ride the train (SEPTA) because I can sit back and read, newspaper, magazines, books, whatever I like. I act in amateur theater, and I’m always one of the first to learn my lines because of my “study time”. Driving on I-95 isn’t relaxing at all!!

I am thankful that I do NOT have to move my car every two hours and side eye the meter maids while I am rushing to my car anymore. XOXO

Because I can relax on the bus and listen to my music before school or work

Love listening to music or reading + checking emails

I love living where I can walk to most everything because it gives me fresh air and exercise I need, saves on the costs of car use and parking and I see people! I have freedom of schedule too.

I am thankful for being a commuter because I rely on public transportation 6 days a week to and from work. If it wasn't for being a commuter I wouldn't have a job to go to. I don't have a car and don't have anyone that would take me to/from work. Not only am I thankful to ride share and Dart public transportation I am grateful for the opportunity to be apart of it everyday. Thank you for your time and service.

Vanpooling saves me money and wear and tear on my car and I love knowing that I'm helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the state.

Prize eligibility is available to those physically living or working in the state of Delaware. After drawing, prizes must be claimed within 14 days. If prize is not claimed within the specified time period, it will result in forfeiture of the raffle prize and another winner will be selected. Employees of DelDOT, DART First state, and AECOM are unable to participate in this promotion.
