DART now offers free Public Wi-Fi on all fixed route buses statewide and at our Wilmington Transit Center.
John Sisson, DART’s Chief Executive Officer stated, “Customers no longer need to worry about running out of data as they access our free Wi-Fi to catch up on work, connect with friends, access apps, or just sit back and stream their favorite music as DART gets them safely and quickly to their destination.”
DART statewide services, both fixed route and paratransit, will not operate on Thanksgiving Day.
Delaware Transit Corporation (DTC) announced today that DART’s 23rd annual “Stuff The Bus” Thanksgiving Food Drive collected 13 tons (26,092 pounds) of food. The week-long food drive took place from November 9 to November 14 at the Safeway in Rehoboth, the Dover Safeway, Walmart in Milford, Rodney Square in Wilmington, and the ShopRite stores at First State Plaza, Brandywine Commons and Four Seasons Shopping Centers.
Delaware Transit Corporation (DTC) is hosting a virtual Public Hearing Workshop via Zoom to gain input and comments on proposed changes to DART Statewide Bus Services and Fares to become effective February 14, 2021, coinciding with I-95 construction.
The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) is providing an opportunity to
learn more about the I-95 Restore the Corridor project that will start in February 2021.
A presentation will be given at 6:00 PM followed by questions and answers.
On Veterans Day, Wednesday, November 11, DART is offering free rides to Veterans on all Statewide bus services. Veterans displaying a Veteran’s ID card (this would also cover spouses and partners) or DD 214 can ride for free on all DART bus services all day.
