Delaware Transit Corporation (DTC) invites you to attend an upcoming Public Hearing Workshop to provide input and comments on proposed changes to DART Statewide Bus Services to become effective May 19, 2019.
“DART To Your Destination, Using the DART Transit APP!” is the theme for DART’s 19th Annual Poster Contest. Open to school-age children Grades 6 through 12, the contest is designed to encourage students to learn more about public transportation and its benefits, as well as the chance to see their artwork featured by DART in various advertisements, promotions, and/or displays.
Whether it’s a bus trip to/from work, shopping, or home, public transportation doesn’t necessarily stop directly
in front of a passenger’s origin or destination. DART wants transit riders to provide input on their accessibility to and from a bus stop in Delaware.
Delaware Governor John Carney, U.S. Senator Tom Carper, and Wilmington Mayor Michael Purzycki joined Transportation Secretary Jennifer Cohan, Delaware Transit Corporation (DTC) CEO John Sisson and other state and local officials to celebrate the start of construction of the Wilmington Transit Center.
